Erin Bailey: Going Viral, Saying Hi To Strangers & Pioneering Conscious Influencer Marketing

Erin Bailey is a writer, fitness professional, and community architect on a mission to deepen our basic human connections by challenging the way we view each other.

I met Erin at Amy Jo Martin’s mastermind, #RenegadeBrandBootcamp, and was immediately moved by her presence and take on digital marketing – filled with curiosity and deep desire to truly connect.

In this episode, Erin shares what happens when your work goes viral, why she chose to work for a brand over being an influencer, and how we can use movement to create a sense of meaning and connection.

About Erin Bailey:

Erin Bailey is a writer, fitness professional, and community architect, currently serving as the Director of Community for beam, a Boston based THC-free CBD company.

Three years ago Erin wrote a blog post that went viral overnight titled, What Do We Deserve, a piece about street harassment in movement situations. A blog article that placed her in Time, Huffington Post, SELF and other top publications. Erin then used that momentum to dive into the fitness industry as the Director of Fitness and Head Trainer for ASICS. There she coached people around the world from Elite models, to professional athletes, to the weekend warrior both in person and digitally, helping them find their strength, believing movement is a catalyst to unlock our greatest potential.

Erin lives in Boston, and currently curates the beam community helping to educate on the benefits of CBD, while creating opportunities for people to better connect. She uses her IG platform to challenge readers to shift the way we view each other, focusing on our similarities as opposed to our differences, and deepening our basic human connections.

Her Motto: I cheer for people, I was raised to believe there’s enough sunshine for everyone.
